Break the Internet – level 1

Jen is at an important meeting at work. Her colleagues from the IT department prepared a joke. They told her that if people write the word “google” into Google, the internet will break. Jen believed them because she doesn’t understand computers. Now Jen is at the meeting. She tells her bosses about it. One man doesn’t believe her. This is the text for the video:

I don’t think that’s true.

With all due (my) respect, John. I am head (boss) of IT and I have it on good authority (from professional people). If you type (write) the words “google” into Google, you can break the internet. So please no one try it, even for a joke.

It’s not a laughing (funny) matter (thing). You can break the internet.
