Koran protests – level 1

The protests in Afghanistan continue. People protest because one man started fire to a Koran book. It was in the USA. It was last month.

On Friday, 14 people were killed after the protests.

Ten people were killed on Saturday.

Hundreds of people protested on Sunday. One person was killed in Kandahar city. Small protests were in more cities. In one city hundreds of protesters stopped a road for three hours.

The problem started in Florida on 20 March 2011. Pastor Wayne Sapp started fire to a Koran book.

The protests in Afghanistan started on Friday. Some protesters were killed. But the protesters were very strong. They killed four men from Nepal and three from Europe.
