Slavic people – level 2
Slavic people are Indo-European people who live in Central and Eastern Europe. Slavic people came to Europe at the beginning of the 6th century. There are 13 countries in Europe with people who speak Slavic languages. There are 270 million Slavic people in Europe and 350 million Slavic people in the whole world.
Since the 6th century, the Slavic people and other people in Europe travelled and mixed a lot. So it is not possible to say that somebody has only Slavic or German or Italian blood. Slavic people mixed usually with Germans, Celts, Vikings, Hungarians, Romanians and Turkish people.
