100 years old marathon runner - level 2
A 100-year-old man is the world's oldest marathon runner. He finished a marathon in Canada. Fauja Singh, finished the Toronto Marathon in eight hours, 25 minutes and 16 seconds.
It looked bad at the 35th kilometre and he almost stopped running. But he didn’t stop and continued for two more hours. He was at the finish line in 3,850th place. He was faster than 5 runners.
Fauja Singh runs only 11 years after the deaths of his wife and son. He trains every day. He runs 10 miles every day.
He believes that he is successful because he eats curry, drinks tea and is happy.
