1001 people in dominoes - level 3, A12

There are plenty of ways to get kicked out of a shopping mall. Raiding a mattress shop would usually be one of them. But for a thousand and one sleepy record breakers in Shanghai, that was exactly the plan, as they smashed the world record with human mattress dominoes which was set at 850 by a group of Americans in February.

Far from just building them up and knocking them down, the event required meticulous planning.

Apart from anything else, arranging over a thousand mattresses, so that they all fall down at the right time and in a confined space, is no small challenge.

It took almost 10 minutes from the first mattress hitting the deck for the last domino to tumble into the record books.

Words from a higher level: plenty (a lot), raid (attack), smash (destroy), meticulous (careful), confined (very small), deck (floor), tumble (go down quickly).
