Antelopes in a river - level 2
Every summer, Tibetan antelopes migrate. They move to their breeding grounds. There are thousands of the antelopes. It is quite a sight.
They travel their thousands-kilometre-long journey every year. And every year, it can be dangerous for them, too.
The animals must cross a river. Many of them turned back this last time. People think that predators were waiting for them on the other side of the river.
Difficult words: breeding grounds (place where they make babies), journey (way), predator (animal that eats other animals).
You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
