Astronauts teach from space - level 2

Astronauts teach from space - level 2

27-06-2013 06:00

60 million schoolchildren in China will never forget one lesson. It was a live lesson from outer space. Astronauts were showing the students what happens with water in space. There is zero gravity in space and water behaves differently there.

Students could see astronauts flying in the spaceship. They were also shown how astronauts measure their weight. They have to use special scales because normal scales don’t work in the weightlessness of space. These lessons are very interesting and practical.

Interesting words: scales (machine for measuring weight), weightlessness (with no weight).
