The wombat has a big problem. There is only one small group of wombats in the world. Wombats are not friendly to people. But we need to save them for next generations. Wombats have short legs. Their body is 1 metre long. Their name is from the Aborigines. These people lived where Sydney is. Wombats eat grass and plants. The food goes through them very slowly. It takes about 8-14 days. On 22 October Australian people have a holiday. The name is Wombat Day.

In this video you can see one wombat. This wombat will live in nature soon. But not now. It is still very friendly to people. It is not OK for it.
