Big demolition in Scotland - level 1

Big demolition in Scotland - level 1

07-08-2013 14:00

Scotland's tallest building is a chimney. It is 236 metres high. But it is old. The Scottish demolish it.

They use many bombs. The bombs are at the bottom and in the middle of the chimney. The bombs explode and the chimney goes down. There is a lot of material from it.

The situation is not safe. People cannot be near the chimney when it goes down. The police tell people to go away.

Difficult words: chimney (high building for smoke), demolish (break completely), explode (change fast into small pieces).
