Big fireworks in California - level 2

Big fireworks in California - level 2

12-07-2013 06:00

Thousands of people came to see a fireworks display on Independence Day in California. What should have been a nice time turned into a horror.

One of the fireworks launching stations probably fell and rockets started to fly into the crowd. Twenty-eight people were injured and most of them were taken to a hospital. Four of them had serious injuries.

It was probably an accident but police are investigating the whole incident.

Interesting words: display (show), launch (start something), crowd (large group of people).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
