Boy saved from a hole - level 2

15-11-2013 06:00

A young boy fell into a manhole in east China. He probably slipped into it on his way back from school.

He was quickly discovered and firefighters pulled him to safety. The boy’s mother was anxiously watching the rescue operation.

The boy was not injured seriously.

Difficult words: manhole (hole in the ground used by people who check something under the ground), slip (loose control over your body for a moment and fall), anxiously (she was worried).
