Building fell down - level 3
Bangladesh's booming garment industry has been plagued by accidents in recent years. Today another disaster, at least 70 people dead.
An eight-story-building, housing factories and the shopping centre collapsed on the outskirts of Dhaka.
"I went into the building, I've seen many people are stuck inside and I rescued some women. Some are dead in there. There are many people unable to get out."
It's thought at least 500 people are injured. Firefighters and soldiers are still trying to rescue those stuck inside. One police officer reportedly told a news agency that the factory owners appear to have ignored a warning not to allow workers into the building after a crack was discovered the previous day.
This tragedy follows a blaze at a factory in November last year. That claimed the lives of a hundred and twelve people.
Interesting words: garment (clothing), collapsed (suddenly fall down), outskirt (outer part of a city), reportedly (according to what some people say), blaze (large fire).
