Children saved from a car - level 2

10-03-2014 07:00

A woman, who might be mentally ill, drove her car into the sea in Florida. Her three children were in the car, as well.

People rushed to the care and helped. They couldn’t open the car’s doors, though, so they got in the boot. The children were pulled out. No one was seriously injured.

The family was taken to hospital, and the car was later pulled from the ocean.

Difficult words: mentally ill (the mind is sick), rush (move quickly), boot (space at the back of a car).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
