Contest in North Korea - level 1

Contest in North Korea - level 1

12-03-2014 07:00

There is a contest in North Korea. Soldiers compete in it. They shoot small rockets.

Two soldiers shoot two rockets. The rockets must hit. The leader of North Korea is at the contest, too. He watches it. He says who is best.

He talks with the soldiers. He gives medals to them. At the end of the competition, a group photo is taken.

Difficult words: contest (situation when people try to be better than other people), compete (try to be better), medal (gift for the winner).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.

Is life in your country better than in North Korea?
