Crashing bicycles in Brussels- level 2

18-03-2015 15:00

Two men crashed their bicycles many times, hurting themselves on purpose, to make a video that they put on the Internet. In the video, they crashed into things you encounter in the streets in Brussels, such as poles or fences. They and other cyclists believe that Brussels is not safe for bicycling, unlike other cities in Europe.
Now the video is very popular on the Internet. The men put it online on February 11th and in three weeks, 100,000 people have watched it.

Difficult words: on purpose (do something for a reason), encounter (to find), cyclist (a person who rides a bike).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.

Do you that think this video was a good idea?
