Czech women are the best at tennis - level 1
The Czech Republic has the 2011 Fed Cup title. This is an interview after the final match with Russia. This interview is not easy for Level 1 but we believe that you can understand some words.
Commentator: Lucy, Kveta, congratulations! Kveta to you first. For the first time ever, as the Czech Republic you are the Fed Cup champions. How does it feel?
Kveta: We feel fantastic. I mean that was unbelievable experience for us. After so many years it’s really an amazing feeling and I don’t know, it’s tough to describe. For me I am playing for 13 years on this team. I am so proud of that, of all the girls and organization, the guys we have around. It was a fantastic weekend. We are so so happy we did it this time.
Commentator: And Lucy, match point 4, backhand, is that the sweetest backhand you ever hit?
Kveta: Well, I know the sweetest because she hits it all the time.
Lucy: I decided, OK, so this point I have to go, I have to go just for the risk, but maybe it will be in and yeah, it was change because we had three match points, yeah, not too aggressive. So I was thinking it will be good result to go.
Commentator: How nervous were you? This is the deciding match for the title.
Lucy: I was more nervous when Petra Kvitova played because sometimes it’s very nervy on a bench than on a court.
Commentator: And last question to you. Where does this rank in your career?
Kveta: Oh, this is, I put it really one of the toppest results and one to the greatest trophies I ever won. And it’s unbelievable. It will get a special place in my home definitely.
Commentator: Girls, congratulations!
Girls: Thank you.
