Explosion on a bus - level 3

Explosion on a bus - level 3

30-10-2013 06:00

Shocking footage from Russia as a dashboard camera catches the moment of a deadly explosion on a bus in Volgograd.

Authorities say it was a female suicide bomber who attacked the bus, killing at least six people and wounding 32 more.

Thirty-year-old Naida Asyalova from Dagestan is being blamed for the attack with reports suggesting she was the wife of an Islamist militant.

The bombing, which is the deadliest in three years, will be likely to raise fears of further attacks by militants, particularly as Russia prepares to host the Winter Olympics in February.

Difficult words: dashboard (part of the car in front of the driver), suicide (dying herself in the attack), wound (injure), blame (say that somebody did something bad), suggest (indicate), militant (person who uses violent action to change political situation).
