Fire in Sao Paulo

Fire in Sao Paulo

15-09-2016 07:00

This news is from Sao Paulo, Brazil. A fire begins there. It is a big fire. It grows bigger quickly. The fire is in a slum.

The fire destroys hundreds of homes. Thirty firefighters try to stop it. Nobody dies in the fire. People do not know the cause of the fire.

Many poor Brazilians live in slums. There are big problems with drugs and crime in the slums.

Difficult words: slum (a bad area where a lot of poor people live), cause (why something happens), poor (a poor person has no money).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
