Floods in Britain - level 2

Floods in Britain - level 2

13-01-2014 14:00

Most people are not happy to see that large parts of Britain are flooded. Three extreme sports lovers, however, are still able to have fun.

They originally wanted to go kiteboarding in a flooded park, but there was not enough wind. They went surfing instead.

They used a long rope and a four-wheel drive car to surf through the roads of southern England. A remote-controlled drone with a camera recorded their unusual activity.

Difficult words: flood (cover with water), kiteboarding (to surf with a kite attached to the surfboard), four-wheel drive (car with four moving wheels), drone (pilotless aircraft).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
