Flying machine in New Zealand - level 1

21-08-2013 06:00

In New Zealand, people are testing a new machine. The machine can fly but it is not a plane. It is a jetpack.

It is like a small rocket on your body. It takes you up. You can go one kilometre up. It flies 70 miles per hour (113 kilometres per hour).

One pilot says that it is great. The company wants to sell these machines. You can buy one next year. But the machine is very expensive. It is $150,000.

Difficult words: jetpack (flying machine which you have on your back), expensive (not cheap).
