Flying machine in New Zealand - level 2

21-08-2013 06:00

The future is now. At least that's how it looks in a New Zealand city where they've recently started to test jetpacks.

The company is now allowed to test these machines with people inside them. Their latest prototype can go up one kilometre and fly about 70 miles per hour (113 kilometres per hour).

Their test pilot says that it feels pretty good. The company would like to sell these flying machines next year. But it's not for everybody as the price is $150,000.

Difficult words: jetpack (flying machine that you have on your back), allowed (let), prototype (machine that is not yet produced in large numbers).
