Helicopter helps a deer – level 2
The rescue of a deer and her baby trapped in ice was filmed by a Canadian biologist. The female deer tried for hours to get on her feet on the ice. She wasn’t able to do it. The biologist informed specialists about the situation because the ice was too thin to try rescuing by foot.
People decided to use a helicopter to help the deer. The pilot used the air blown from the helicopter to move the deer to land. When the deer reached the land, people helped her to get to her feet, and then she walked away into the woods.
Interesting words: rescue (save), trapped (being in a position when you cannot go away), blown from (coming from).
