Horse in a tweed suit – level 2

23-03-2016 15:00

A horse and its jockey decided to dress great for a festival in England. The material that they chose was tweed.

A team worked day and night to finish the horse’s suit. It took them four weeks and they used 18 metres of genuine tweed. That’s ten times as much fabric as is needed for a human suit.

Difficult words: jockey (a person who rides in horse races), tweed (a woollen cloth), genuine (authentic, real).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.

Would you like to dress up your pet to match what you wear?
