Jump into the Amazon River - level 2

Jump into the Amazon River - level 2

28-03-2014 15:00

A world champion diver jumped off a 38-metre tree into the Amazon River. The Colombian took the daring leap near the border between Peru, Colombia and Brazil.

The tree is said to be about 100 years old. It provided perfect diving conditions, and the view from up there was truly beautiful. The depth of the water was also perfect. The only difficult thing was getting up the tree.

The man believes that no one else has tried this dangerous dive.

Difficult words: daring (risky), leap (jump), provide (give).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
