Here is news from Toronto. Three polar bears are born. Two polar bears die. Only one bear survives.

The polar bear is now two months old. It is ten pounds (4.5 kilograms) heavy. It walks for the first time. People are happy that the bear walks. They hope that the bear will grow up.

Polar bears are endangered. There are only 25,000 bears in the world.

Difficult words: be born (come out of the mother’s body), survive (live), endangered (not safe and not many).
