Man didn't kill a hedgehog - level 2, A12

The hedgehog is a small animal which is active usually at night when it looks for food.

Cars are a big problem for hedgehogs and many hedgehogs are killed on roads every year. Of course, nobody wants to kill a hedgehog, but when you travel at 90 km per hour, it is very difficult to change your way when you see a hedgehog in front of your car.

One man in Germany tried it with his Ferrari. He was travelling home from work when he saw a hedgehog in front of his car. He tried to go around the animal but his car got out of control and hit a barrier. The man is alive but repairs to the car will cost 30 000 euros. The hedgehog is alive too.
