Man flies out of the car - level 3

Man flies out of the car - level 3

27-01-2016 15:00

Jaw-dropping and unbelievable – the moment a man is thrown from a truck in Brazil is captured by another driver's dashcam.

The vehicle loses control at high speed while overtaking, flipping over around six times, scattering debris and tyres across the road and grass.

While the truck flips, the passenger is seen being thrown out of the side window and hurled several feet into the air. He flips above the vehicle like a rag doll before landing further up the road.

Another man, the driver, can be seen getting out of the truck when it finally comes to a stop and running towards his passenger. Luckily, the flying man survived with only broken bones and is said to be in a stable condition.

At the time, there was a little traffic along the road, so no other vehicles were involved. According to local media, the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol.

Difficult words: dashcam (a camera on a dashboard – the flat front area in front of the driver), scatter (to throw around), debris (pieces of something broken), hurl (to throw), rag doll (a soft doll made from pieces of cloth).
