Mississippi tornado destroys homes - level 2

One person was killed and several others injured after a storm moved through Mississippi. Severe weather moved through parts of the state. People's houses were destroyed and trees pulled out. There were strong winds, heavy rain and even a tornado.

4,000 homes were without electricity because of this disaster. The tornado was part of a storm system which has been moving east recently. In other parts of the United States people also experienced bad weather including snow and hail.
