Pandas live after an earthquake - level 2

Pandas live after an earthquake - level 2

26-04-2013 14:00

All of the 62 giant pandas from the Chinese Panda Base survived a strong earthquake. The Panda centre is located only 50 kilometres from the earthquake's epicentre but still, all pandas as well as one hundred staff members were fine.

However, some of the pandas were very scared and climbed up the trees. They didn't want to go down from them. Some of the centre's buildings very a little bit damaged.

Interesting words: epicentre (centre of an earthquake), damaged (a little broken).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
