People hear a private chat - level 3
Sometimes we all say things we don't want others to hear, but rarely do we broadcast them to an entire city. Two unfortunate members of the Winnipeg Police Service helicopter Air One were on routine patrol over the Canadian city this week when they inadvertently activated the aircraft’s public address system.
What the public heard on the ground below was interesting to say the least and some took to Twitter to describe the experience. This tweet gives you some idea as to the conversation’s lewd content, another offering a lesson familiar to more regular broadcasters about the danger of live microphones.
In a statement, Winnipeg Police said the officers couldn't hear the public address system from inside the chopper. They sincerely apologised to all members of the public, especially those who overheard the broadcast and said the incident is being reviewed.
Difficult words: broadcast (to tell many, many people something), patrol (watch), inadvertently (accidentally), lewd (inappropriate), chopper (helicopter), sincerely (honestly).
