Pope masks are made in Brazil - level 2
A man from Brazil, who makes masks of many celebrities, decided to make hundreds of pope Francis’s masks.
In Rio de Janeiro, there is going to be a meeting of young Christians in July. It is called the The World Day of Youth. The manufacturer and his workers would like these people to wear the masks when the pope arrives in Brazil. They think it would be a nice gift for the pope. It would show him that people believe in him.
The manufacturer likes the new pope very much. He sees him as charismatic and modest.
Interesting words: youth (young people), manufacturer (person who makes a lot of goods) modest (not too proud or extravagant).
