Protest in Argentina - level 1

Protest in Argentina - level 1

02-09-2013 14:00

There is a new deal for Argentina. The leaders are thinking about this deal. They may say "yes".

If they say "yes", a big part of the industry there changes. The industry goes to the USA. And the USA controls the industry. People are not happy about it.

Around 5000 people protest. They are very angry. They throw stones and fire bombs. Police fight with them. The police shoot at them.

Difficult words: deal (plan), leaders (bosses), industry (business).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
