Pumpkins in water - level 2
Last weekend, people in Nova Scotia in Canada took their big pumpkins from their fields and put them into the water. They cut out the inside of the pumpkins and changed them into boats. They do it every year.
These people are from the town of Windsor. They say that their town is the World Pumpkin Capital. People make 50 or 60 boats every year. They make them at home and they go across the 500-metre lake as fast as possible.
There are always a lot of visitors there. They like this show very much. Not every boat goes all the way. Many boats go under water and people have to swim in clothes. It is fun.
