Sandwich hit a Prime Minister - level 2

Sandwich hit a Prime Minister - level 2

06-06-2013 14:00

The Australian Prime Minister was visiting a high school in Canberra. While she was shaking hands with the students and the teachers, a student threw a sandwich at her.

It closely missed her head and it hit her arm. It wasn't a very warm welcome but the Prime Minister wasn't upset. Later, she made a joke about it and everything was fine.

This was a second sandwich attack on her this month. The school says that they are speaking to the boy who threw the sandwich.

Interesting words: upset (angry), miss (not to hit a target).
