Smallest Pub in the World - level 3, A12
There are many small pubs in the world. The owners are usually very proud of them. They say that their pub is the smallest because they want to be in the Guinness Book of Records. These pubs have one advantage. They are almost always full. In times of crisis, it is very good when your pub is full of customers.
Probably the smallest pub in the world is in England. It was opened in August 2006 and it has a good selection of beers. It's inside area is only 6 square metres but there is a garden outside where you can sit and enjoy your drinks.
Since there is no space for a big kitchen in the pub, you can’t expect a large selection of food. However, you can enjoy a sausage baguette and a huge hand-made waffle.
Alan, the owner and usually the only staff in the pub, will be happy to serve you. The prices are reasonable. Both beer and snacks cost around 2 pounds a piece.
