Stories from People in Levels – level 2

18-11-2016 15:00

This story is from one of our students Hoa from Vietnam.

A 27-year-old girl – level 2

What's up! How is it going? My name is Chi for short and I am 27 years old. Nice to meet you.

I am now working in the Northwest mountainous area of Viet Nam, about 400km away from my family. If you ask me, working and living away from your parents isn’t so difficult. However, for people who have not done it before, it might not be so easy.

In my case it’s not very difficult because I am used to it. I have been living here since I came back from my MSc and from my last internship program more than two years ago. I studied in a place 15 000km away from my family.

Personally, I think that it doesn't matter where you stay in the world. The most important thing is that you learn how to control your mind and your feelings. We are all humans; we always reach out to someone to share every moment of life with us.

One more idea, Buddhism will help you become more independent in your life. If you didn't know about this religion, please do not hesitate to read about it. I strongly believe that Buddha can help you find yourself.

Since I learnt about Buddhism, I have felt very happy and really satisfied with my life. Wishing you guys the same feeling of happiness that I feel.
