Syrian children - level 1

Syrian children - level 1

04-12-2013 14:00

There is a war in Syria. Some children talk about it. A camera is films them. A bomb explodes. It happens very close to the children.

The children crawl away. They look for a safe place to go. They are lucky. They survive. They talk about the situation later.

Mother of one boy sees that he is alive. She is really happy. She cries.

People think that 7,000 children have died in the war.

Difficult words: explode (change fast into small pieces), crawl (move on your hands and knees), survive (live).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
