The Leaning Tower of London - level 3

The Leaning Tower of London - level 3

24-10-2011 15:00

Do you know Big Ben, the most famous London building? It is a 96 metres high tower on the bank of the River Thames. Now something wrong happens to this tower. It doesn’t stand straight but it’s going slightly to the side. The tourists can see it now. They are amazed and take lots of pictures.

There are probably many causes of this but one of them is certainly the fact that people do a lot of activities underground. They built the London Underground and a big underground car park near Big Ben.

However, experts have not been worried very much. They say it is not dangerous. But people already call Big Ben “The Leaning Tower of London”, according to the famous “Leaning Tower of Pisa” in Italy.
