Thieves will tell how they steal - level 3, A12

Danish police believe that thieves will reveal information about how they rob houses. They will tell the police in a questionnaire. It is a very unusual way to reduce crime.

Police in Denmark believe that it will help reduce crime in the north of Denmark when they ask the thieves.

The police are going to offer the questionnaires to thieves in prison. Filling in the questionnaire is going to be voluntary and anonymous.

In the questionnaire, police will ask these questions: How do you choose the house? What can we do to catch you better? What techniques do you use? How do you sell stolen things?

Some people say that the thieves will give the police false information but the police say that they can still get valuable information.
