Time will change - level 3

Time will change - level 3

29-10-2011 21:00

There is going to be a change of time tonight. Summer time will end in most European countries and in the USA and Canada too. The time will go back one hour at 3 am on Sunday.

However, there is going to be no change in Russia. The Russians will not sleep one hour longer as many people will do. Dmitry Medvedev, the president of Russia, decided not to change time anymore. The reason is simple. It is because of human biorhythms and also because of cows. The cows are surprised in spring when they have to wake up one hour earlier and again in autumn when they can sleep one hour longer. It is not good for them.

But businessmen don’t like this change. The time difference between Russia and Germany, Russia’s biggest business partner, will be three hours. It’s not good for business. It is also a problem for computers. They are not prepared for this change. Also, when you travel from Norway to Russia and cross the border by car, the time difference will be 3 hours. It is a curiosity in Europe.
