Two Weeks in the Jungle - level 2

Two Weeks in the Jungle - level 2

14-11-2016 15:00

After disappearing for nearly two weeks, people rescued an Australian tourist alive in the Malaysian jungle.

The man was carried by helicopter that took him to hospital. People discovered him after two weeks of searching.

The man entered a national park on Borneo Island on the twentieth of October and people reported him missing five days later. The man is in his mid-twenties and he was found in an area called Hidden Valley about five to six kilometres from the base camp.

People think that he ate almost nothing but some wild plants. He was hungry but fortunately he suffered no big injuries. He only had some infected cuts on his feet.

Difficult words: rescue (save), valley (a place between mountains), suffer (experience physical problems), infected (filled with infection).

You can watch the video news in the Level 3 section.
