Usain Bolt at the Olympics – level 2

24-08-2016 15:00

Usain Bolt won the Olympic gold in three events at three consecutive games. The third gold was in a 4 by 100-metre relay.

Jamaicans in Rio celebrated Bolt’s great achievement, and back home, they couldn’t be prouder.

However, Bolt will not be able to pull off something like this again. He is going to retire after the world championships next year.

Difficult words: consecutive (happening after one another), relay (a race when runners in a team take turns), pull off (to do something).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
