Very strong man in a wheelchair - level 3, A12

14-03-2012 18:00

Larry Skopnik was in a shop when another man wanted to rob the place. The robber didn’t pay much attention to him because Larry is in a wheelchair.

When the robber started to attack the shop assistant, Larry came to him immediately and tried to take the man down. He was successful and other people came to help him too. They held the robber until the police arrived.

Larry has been in a wheelchair for 10 years. He says, “I saw the robber who was coming to the shop assistant and started to attack her. It was unacceptable for me. So I decided to end that situation.

Just because I am in a wheelchair doesn’t mean that I cannot stand up and do what is right even though I cannot stand up. It is all about doing the right thing.”

Larry is honest. He doesn’t want to be called “hero” but he is a hero for everybody who comes to the shop.
