Whitney Houston started to sing with her mother when she was very young. Her mother was a singer of Elvis Presley. As a teenager Whitney sang in nightclubs in New York with her mother. A music agent saw her there and he helped her to start her career. Her first album was a great success and she became famous in the US.
In 1992, she played her biggest role in a film. It was in the Bodyguard with Kevin Costner and at that time the whole world knew her.
From that moment her life slowly started to take a new direction. She was famous, she was rich and she also started to use drugs. The situation wasn’t very good, her husband started to beat her, she came late to her interviews and her career was going down. In 2006, she divorced her husband and later she had a great success with the song “I Look to You.” Whitney Houston died at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in the bathroom on 11th February 2012.
