Women protest in Ukraine - level 2

Women protest in Ukraine - level 2

20-06-2013 14:00

Three women were arrested in Ukraine after organizing a topless protest against the visit of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

The protestors shouted 'Belarus lives' and they spoke badly about the president. They said that the president is the last dictator in Europe. Then they were arrested by the police.

Among those arrested was Alexandra Shevchenko, a famous Ukrainian activist.

Interesting words: arrested (taken to a police station), topless (without a bra).
