AI is becoming important in modern war. The US military uses AI to study images, find targets, and test different war situations. This helps leaders decide faster.
Governments also use AI to track people, and many people criticize this because they worry about privacy. There are also disagreements between the US government and technology companies about how to use AI in war.
Experts warn that AI may create new dangers. In one study, many AI models suggested nuclear conflicts in most of the dangerous situations. Because of these risks, some companies have more rules for their technology. Experts say the world needs clear rules for AI in war.
