Living with ADHD – level 1
26-05-2025 15:00
Henry is a tour guide in London. He has ADHD. This means that his brain works in a different way.
Henry finds it hard to remember things like keys or meetings. He says that his brain is like a tombola game where many balls come out. These balls are like thoughts or things he has to do.
Sometimes this makes Henry feel sad or upset. But Henry says he is okay and does not want to change. His family loves him and helps him a lot. Henry wants people to understand what ADHD is like.
Difficult words: tour guide (a person who shows tourists around a place), thought (an idea in your mind), upset (feeling sad and worried).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
What analogy does Henry use to describe how his thoughts come to him, and what do the “balls” in that analogy represent?
