Organic caviar – level 1
03-03-2026 15:00
A farm in southern Spain makes organic caviar. Caviar is fish eggs with salt. The fish live in clean water and eat natural food. The farm does not make the fish grow faster. It makes about two tonnes of caviar every year and sells it to many countries.
The best caviar can cost 8,000 euros for one kilo. The farm also sells fish meat. The company says that the organic product is very good.
Some restaurants now sell more caviar because it is cheaper than before. Most caviar in the world comes from China.
Difficult words: organic (when farmers grow plants or animals without chemicals), natural (from nature, not a factory), ton (1,000 kilograms).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
