Three deer and two dogs – level 2

18-03-2014 07:00

A school in Maryland, USA, had unexpected visitors last Tuesday. Three deer crashed through the doors and ran around the halls. The incident was captured by a security camera.

Two dogs then came through the broken door, and chased the deer. Police responded to the incident after the school’s alarm system went off.

One deer died, as it was seriously injured. The other animals were euthanised. The dogs’ owners have been located.

Difficult words: chase (follow to catch), go off (begin to sound), euthanise (put to death humanely).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
