Several recent influencer murders across India have shocked the country.

In the case of Raja Raghuvanshi from Indore, new twists continue to emerge. Police are investigating missing phones and possible new people involved, including someone his wife, Sonam, reportedly contacted over 200 times. Investigators are exploring a suspected love triangle and have recreated the crime scene with the accused. A second murder weapon was found, and raids are ongoing in Indore. Sonam was in hiding for weeks before her arrest.

In Haryana, former model and influencer Sheetal Chaudhary, known as Simmi, was murdered by her ex-boyfriend Sunil, who confessed but must do so before a magistrate for it to be valid in court. He had been harassing her, and she had called her sister in distress before she was killed.

In Punjab, another influencer’s decomposed body was found in a car. Police say she was strangled. A religious vigilante, Amritpal Mehron, is the key suspect and fled India after recording a video justifying the act.
